A safe place where you are the focus
I can help
If you’re thinking about counselling, you’ll want to be sure that your counsellor can offer you a safe place where you can unburden yourself of anxiety and worry, and leave sessions feeling supported
and further along the road to self-acceptance. I am caring, empathic, open and honest and bring these values to my counselling and to my relationship with clients.
I have built my experience of a broad range of issues over the past 11 years, and have worked successfully with clients from a variety of backgrounds, including professionals, children and those who
have felt at a low point in their life for whatever reason.
I have worked extensively with low self-esteem, anxiety and lack of confidence helping to enable people along their journeys to fulfilment. I have counselled couples for many years on relationship
issues helping them to find a therapeutic resolution. I have also worked for a bereavement charity and have a particular interest in facilitating people through the bereavement process. Work stress,
anxiety at work and peer and management issues have been a big part of my practice over the years.
I have a vast experience with young people and children having worked in roles in the Council and at a boarding prep school, working on peer relationships, anxiety and family issues such as divorce
and separation. I have also worked with disengaged young people on issues including school phobia, bullying, teenage pregnancy, stress and anxiety. Within these roles I have experience of
self-harming and suicidal thoughts and can gently facilitate their journey towards self-acceptance.
